Tall Glass Vases

If you are following this tall glass vases tutorial, in the previous step the acrylic rod is now attached firmly to the bottom of the floral container.

Remember!! At this point when you attach the container to the vase the flowers are already designed in the container

I now put four small balls of florist clay on the corners of the lip of my tower vase.

The length of the rod should be snipped of just before the bottom of the vase. (Right before the vase flares out to become the base of the vase.

Place it down carefully and press firmly so that the adhesive on the vase presses flat against the bottom of the florist container.

Here's a view from the bottom. You can see that between the rod attachment to the bowl and again to the lip of the vase forms a tight seal, keeping the container firmly attached.
