Buying bulk flowers online can be cheaper than from local florists, but you must compare prices to see if you are really getting a bargain or not. I do not require that brides buy huge bunches of one product - but sell flowers by individual bunches so they can have the variety they want.
Some sites require that you buy 50 stems or more. If you want a mix of flowers (or greenery), this type of requirement can get to be a little pricey.
Use my free Wedding Flower Calculator to calculate just how many bunches of each flower variety you need. You also save because you can buy everything you need in one place, including fresh flower processing products, Oasis foam, bouquet holders, centerpiece supplies and more.
Asiatic lilies are available year round and come in shades of pink, yellow, red, and white. If ordered through my website, they will arrive in a tighter bud state. Therefore you need to have them delivered several days in advance in order to allow them to open up fully.
They usually have three to five flower heads per stem and last over a week if treated properly.
Brides are sometimes confused between the difference of an Asiatic lily and an Oriental. These lilies are usually smaller in head size and don't have the distinct fragrance that the Orientals do.
Asiatics are cheaper - but are sized nicely to work well as focal flowers in all types of wedding work, including bouquets, centerpieces and church florals.
