White Lily Bouquet
Easy Step-by-Step Flower Arranging Instructions

The white lily bouquet tutorial is almost finished! The first step was to
soak the bouquet holder,
then create a beautiful
collar of decorative wire.
After
attaching the collar,
the bouquet holder was then flowered with
Casa Blanca lilies.
The final step is to secure the flowers with
Floralock Stem Adhesive.
I love this product, since it is much easier (and less messy!) than tube glue. If you should use the tube glue, be sure to run a line of adhesive down the SIDE of each stem. Don't dip the stem into the glue or you will seal off the cut end, making it impossible for the flower to draw water up it's stem.

Floralock is done last, after you are sure your design is complete. It creates a seal over the foam and will make it hard to insert any more flowers into the Oasis.

Shake the can THROUGHLY, so the glue is well mixed and will flow through the red straw easily. This long stem fits down deep into the bouquet. Squirt in short bursts near the flower stems. Don't overdo, or you may have glue dripping down the sides of your bouquet holder.

Don't forget the
Finishing Touch
. This product seals the petals and slows evaporation, helping to prevent wilting and transparency. It also hydrates the flower directly through the petals. Mist well, and wait for it to dry before placing the bouquet into a refrigerator.
A normal refrigerator doesn't have the humidity of a florists' cooler, so it is very drying to a bouquet. The same is true of air conditioning - so using Finishing Touch is a very important step for the DIY bride.

This gorgeous bouquet is so easy that your guests will be amazed that you did it yourself!
