Do you need ideas for your Western Wedding plans?
Are you planning a Western Wedding? I can't imagine more fun than a boot scootin', line dancin' country western wedding! Brainstorm your wedding ideas I always begin planning for a wedding by brainstorming ideas. What comes to your mind when you think of a cowboy wedding? Hmmm. . .let me see. I picture checked shirts, cowboy bandanas, horses, boots, blue jeans and saddles. So how can we work these kind of items into a Western theme centerpiece? Search Google Images This is where the internet comes in real handy. It's not only what you search, but how you search it. Go to Google, type in "cowboy boots figurine" and click on "Images" - not "Search". Then you get to see nothing but pictures. This helps narrow down your search real fast since you can see what's for sale. I found these great boots figurines at this link http://lastminutemall.com
Now picture those boots sittin' in the middle of this centerpiece inside the hurricane lamp
or just place a big bandana hankerchief in the middle of the centerpiece, place a candle there and tuck the boots around the outer rim of the centerpiece. Try to think of other items you can use to make a Western Wedding Centerpiece. Cowboy Hats, ropes, saddles . . . keep thinking! I love using these OASIS® Design Rings because they come in three sizes and are so easy to make look good! This OASIS® Foam Design Ring can be made up into so many different styles and colors - just substitute the flowers of your choice. It comes all in one piece with a water tray attached. Soak it in water mixed with flower food and poke the flowers in. Beautiful, fast and so easy to do! These are the products that professional florists use to save time and money.
Western Styled Napkin Holder
Cut out and sew checked flannel to resemble shirt pockets. Tuck your napkins and eating utensils in each shirt pocket and lay on plates.
Western Wedding Cake
Decorations for a western styled cake can be done the same way. Give your cake a little more country look by cutting a large board for the base. Round or square - just so it is about 2" larger than your bottom layer. Flip it over onto a large square of blue jean fabric. Pull it taut and staple to the bottom. When you turn it over - you have a great blue jean base for your cake to rest on! Tuck your matching flowers here and there - but be sure to let some of the blue jean material to show. Click
