Western Wedding Cakes

These photos of western wedding cakes have been shared by the wonderful members of Flickr.com . I have put them here to inspire you with ideas for your own western wedding. Please note that I am a wedding florist by trade - not a cake designer. Any questions you have should be directed towards the wonderful folks who shared their photos with us! Click on the picture itself for further copyright information.

This cool looking cake is by Karen of Manassary Cakery. She generously shares her pictures with brides everywhere. The detailing of the lariats and the cowboy hats is awesome!

How about a cowboy boot for a groom's wedding cake? This cake was shared by Karen as well.

Something Special Cakes created this beautiful masterpiece. She did mention how hot the wedding was, but it looks as if the cake held up beautifully.

Here's a closeup of the cute cake topper of western boots made out of gumpaste.

"Cakes by M" made this great cowboy hat nestled on a brightly printed bandana handkerchief. She paid wonderful attention to details, including the rope brim and the buckle accent.

Here's a more detailed closeup of the buckle on the hat.

This cool cake was shared by by Daniel Greene on his photostream. Very neat setup with the rope barrel cake stand, flanked by two chunky pillar candles on horse holders. Setting on checked tablecloth - it's a perfect setup!
