Wedding Chair Decorations

Sponsored Links

Wedding chair decorations can be provided by a wedding rental company, decorated by a florist or simply tied with beautiful bows. The seating can be a very striking part of your wedding, emphasizing your wedding color scheme and flowers.

Wedding Chair Cover

To cover or not to cover ...that is the question. It is no doubt that wedding chair linen creates a dramatic look that is hard to beat. Before deciding, check out the prices at your local rental party supplies. Many can run a pricey $2 to $6 per chair (and not including the rental of the chair itself!) This can run into hundreds of dollars.

Rental sashes and bows come in a wide variety of colors that can add the perfect touch to your seating plans.

Don't want to spend that kind of money out of your wedding budget? Then get creative! Using tulle or organza, create your own beautiful bows tied in a big sheer puffs of color! For a lot less money, you can create a sea of color across your seating area.

It is not necessary to tie the bows to every single chair - count off an equal amount and tie on every third or fourth chair instead.

Make your chair decorations sizzle by combining two colors together. Tie them to the chairs with unique knots or a dramatic diagonal sweep instead of the traditional bows.

Scout out the local dollar stores, discount centers and fabric supply outlets. There are wonderful bargains to be had!

I knew the instant I saw these beautiful linens at the dollar store that I wanted to incorporate them into my daughter's wedding. We draped them across tables, hung them over the edge of the bridal table and used them draped around her white rental chairs.

They were absolutely gorgeous and people raved about her colors for weeks after the wedding! See how lovely they looked against her bridesmaid's dress (which, incidentally, was bought from David's Bridal!)

Make single presentation flowers with a water tube and piece of greenery (tree fern is shown) and tie with a loopy bow against the chair. See how beautiful (and economical!) chair decorations can be!

These stretchy chair covers, pretty sashes and chair bands below are found at Stumps. Reasonable prices plus they even offer free shipping on event decorations .

Check the thumbnails over the the right column for more info on these chair covers and sashes.

If you want to keep the costs down, mix some greenery in with thetulle bows instead of flowers. These chairs had an addition of Ti leaves. Any greens, including ivy, leather leaf, tree fern, etc., can add interest to the chair decorations.
