Wedding Centerpieces

Beautiful Florals for Weddings

Choosing wedding centerpieces can be so much fun. How many times in a lifetime do you get to throw a big party and be in total control of everything from the decorations to the food? Your wedding centerpieces are going to be the focal point of your guests as they gaze at them throughout the whole dinner meal.

Remember the ideas is to get a feel for a look you like. Combinations of flowers, textures and colors. If you don't like the color - do the same in a different shade! Don't like baskets? Then substitute clear, square vases! Be creative and let your decorating style come through.

Prefer a brightly colored mix? Roses, snapdragons, lisianthus, and bright blue delphinium make up a cheery mix that works very well for a hot, summer wedding.

If a monochrome palate is more to your liking, keep all your flowers in one color or shades of a color and add in interest and texture with decorative wire, branches, sisal or other accents.

Tightly bind a hand tied bouquet together and drop into a clear vase. You may want to cut the stems shorter so your guests can see over the top of the arrangement for eye contact.

Miniature carnations come in a wide array of colors and can certainly hold their own in a centerpiece. This deep hued arrangement is a lot more cost conscious than you would imagine!

I love this combination of Gerbera daisies, roses and orange Asiatic lilies. Curled stems can act as a decorative framework grid to hold your flowers in a clear, round fishbowl.

This wedding centerpiece is a light array of spring flowers, including Oriental lilies, white iris, Star of Bethlehem, and brightly colored carnations.

You can take advantage of using a low cost container when you center your flowers down closer, hugging the tabletop.
