Wedding Candle Centerpieces

Wedding candle centerpieces are still as popular as ever! These designs are very easy to do yourself. Ring Holders and Design Rings by OASIS make it simple. You simply "soak and poke". Soak the foam in water treated with flower food, cut the flowers and "poke" them in! These can be done a few days in advance, as long as the Oasis never goes dry. Be sure not to OVERFILL the water trays on the day of the wedding or you'll have wet tablecloths!

This lovely design is made with Cymbidium orchids and salal leaves. Buy orchids by the stem instead of individually and they'll be cheaper.

Although you can use soft stemmed flowers in these rings, I prefer harder stemmed flowers such as roses and daisies if I want to design them in advance.

You can create more interest with different sizes of rose heads, as well as color.

You can also do candles in pots or ceramic containers. Just be sure the holder is waterproof or use a liner.
