Sunflower Weddings

Sunflower weddings are so bright and cheery, it's impossible not to smile when using these wonderful flowers. I do suggest, however, that for your bridal bouquets and hand tied nosegays, that you use miniature sunflowers, as the standard ones can have extremely large stalks and may be difficult to handle.

Here, the miniature sunflowers have been complimented with black roses and red hypericum berries.

Simplicity rules with this simple vase of miniatures - perfect for an altar or reception table.

To give more balance, you may want to use Viking pomps in addition to the sunflowers. This flower looks very similar to a black-eyed Susan daisy.

Fillers such as Solidego is a perfect addition to this vase bouquet.

Here again, Viking pomps are used in boutonniere and corsage work since even miniature sunflowers are too large for such delicate designs.
