Silk Wedding Bouquets

Sponsored Links

Silk wedding bouquets can look very real if you concentrate on two things. Using quality silks AND choosing only flowers that come in that particular color. Navy blue flowers are a dead giveaway that your flowers are fake!

You don't have to look at pictures of SILK bridals to give yourself ideas - look at the fresh bouquets, too! Choose your design style and have it in mind when you go to purchase your flowers.

Choose a soft mix of colors, choosing both a focal flower and some secondary flowers and fillers that blend well with it.

Since you don't have to worry about keeping the flowers fresh, you can do them days - even months in advance. But a big NO-NO? Please don't smoosh them don't in plastic bags to "keep off the dust".

Protect silks from the elements by laying them in large boxes or plastic tubs. Do NOT layer them! Even a short time - no matter how carefully packed, will result in flattened flowers. It's better to invest in a few more tubs that to overcrowd them!

You can even add scented oil or dried flowers such as eculyptus to give your silks a "fragrance". But don't overdo it - even real flowers don't overpower the senses!

She and the attendants all carried fresh . . . and the church decor and reception were silk. Yet I got numerous compliments on how gorgeous the flowers looked and . . .how good they smelled!!

The best advantage? I sold them afterwards to a rental company and MADE money on the deal!
