How to Make
Bridal Bouquet Designs

Easy Step-by-Step Flower Arranging Tutorials

You can learn how to make bridal bouquet designs just like a professional! Check out all my wedding bouquet tutorials for instructions on hand tied, cascades, pomanders and more. You'll also find gorgeous centerpieces, church decorations and cake flowers.

This particular tutorial shows how to make a calla lily wedding bouquet. You will need the following supplies:

13 White Miniature Calla Lilies
20 Deep Plum Miniature Calla Lilies
Pearl Headed Pins
Finishing Touch Flower Spray
Bolt of Sheer Ribbon
Light Green Florist's Tape

I must caution the inexperienced designer that this bouquet is a little more challenging. Although it seems that you should be able to simply gather the flowers together and tie them with ribbon, calla lilies sometimes have a mind of their own. It's tricky to get them to get a hand tied bouquet to fit well together and keep it's rounded shape.

It is easier to create a faux hand tied bouquet , where you insert the flowers into a foam holder and then use the stems to simulate a hand tied look. You have a great deal more control and less frustration because every flower stays exactly where you put them.

1. Sort Calla Lilies and Tape into Clusters

2. Begin Constructing Calla Lily Bouquet

3. Finishing with Ribbon Wrap

4. Keeping the Bouquet Fresh
