I started in the floral industry learning how to wire and tape flowers for corsage work. Florists can be stubborn people . . . but I've learned that the new floral adhesive really can be a timesaver and creates beautiful corsages that do not come apart!
The key is to use professional floral adhesive. It is designed especially to be kind to the flowers (do NOT use hot glue!) and yet holds up well both to moisture and being stored in a refrigerator.
Cool melt glue and craft glues sometimes crack and become brittle when refrigerated. Hot melt is just a bad idea all the way around.
The newer corsage bracelets in the floral industry are made with large silicone surfaces to make it super easy to glue the corsages.
