Fresh Thistle Boutonniere

A fresh thistle boutonniere may seem like an odd choice, but grooms seem to enjoy wearing something "out of the ordinary". I found these boutonnieres to be especially popular with couples planning a Hunting Wedding theme or a Farm themed wedding.

Here, a bit of blue muscari is added with eryngium and loops of bear grass for accent.

Eryngium and the tips of liatris make another interesting look design that certainly cannot be accused of "looking girly"!! Finish with loops of blue wire and a wire wrapped stem.
