Flower Kissing Ball

Pomanders for Bridesmaids and Flower Girls

A "Flower Kissing Ball", also known as a pomander, is a round ball of fresh (or silk) flowers with a ribbon handle thread through it. These fresh bouquets got their beginnings with the popularity of Christmas kissing pomanders, where couples in love traditionally kiss under a ball of mistletoe hung from a doorway.

You must be careful not to start with too large of an OASIS sphere, because a small ball of florist foam makes a nice size bouquet when finished. These can be rather heavy if you go too large!

White Kissing Ball

This white pomander is made with a dozen "Akito Roses", eight "Igloo" roses, with accents of stephanotis, Queen Anne's Lace, white freesia and white lisianthus. This makes a rather large sphere, so using floral foam that is less than 3" will cut down on the size if necessary.

Lavender and White Kissing Ball

Button mums are tucked into this delightful pomander with a sheer white ribbon handle.

Flower Girl Pomander

This sweet moss and carnation pomander would be perfect for the little hands of a flower girl! With less flowers, it is much lighter and easier to carry.

Sphere made of Roses

This lovely pomander is made of a mixture of spray roses in pinks, white and light pink. Don't forget to spray your finished bouquet with "Crowning Glory", a flower preservative that will help keep your fresh flowers fresh!!

Check out the decorating and flower supplies in my online store. Find all the products you need for both the church and the reception hall. Since I know it is hard for brides to find many of the floral supplies I mention, you can find them all in the store.

Please be sure to order early. I purchase from many different wholesalers to bring you a wide selection of products. You must be sure to allow for plenty of shipping time.
