Cymbidium Orchid Bridal Bouquet

A cymbidium orchid bridal bouquet can come in green, soft pink, white and yellow. These stately blossoms are grown on long stems off plants. You can buy them singly or by the stem.

These lovely green orchids were carefully cut, wired and the new "stems" wrapped with corsage tape. You must use this method if you want to use them in a bouquet, because the individual stems are very short. There is a special orchid straw available with a cotton center wick that can continue to feed moisture up to the orchid head.

Wiring enables designers to use these lovely flowers in many creative ways - even in bridal cascades. Ming fern, reddish cottage yarrow and decorative grasses gives a lovely Oriental feel to this interesting design.
