You need to shop carefully before purchasing bulk wedding flowers online to be sure that "bargains" are really what they claim to be!
Agapanthus is a lovely, round shaped flower with either white or blue (sometimes deepening into a purple shade) blossoms. It is commonly referred to as Lily-of-the-Nile.
The multiple blooms and buds explode into a mass of color that works well as a focal point in a centerpiece or bouquets. The stems can reach 25" and more, making it a nice flower to add when you need height in a altar bouquet or tall banquet centerpiece.
The head usually around 5 - 6" around with individual blooms between 1/4" to 1/2" across. This flower has a long vase life of around a week or more.
Agapanthus florets can be separated from the main flower head and glued with floral adhesive into wrist or shoulder corsages and boutonnieres.
Don't forget to spray the final design with a flower sealant such as Finishing Touch.
