Carnation Boutonniere

A carnation boutonniere is sometimes neglected in today's dramatic edge look of calla lilies and freesia, but this wonderful little flower is a true bargain. It has a wonderful fragrance, comes in a multitude of different colors and shades and holds up beautifully . .even in outdoor humid weather!

The bright contrast of reds, lavender daisies and purple static sure spices up this boutonniere. Add a bow, and this could be used for a simple corsage to honor someone cutting your cake, passing out wedding programs or for a tiny flower girl's basket decoration.
