Boutonniere for Prom or Wedding

Making a boutonniere for prom or wedding events can be traditional or jazzed up with a different style and materials. This viking pomp is enhanced with a few cut flower stems and a bit of brown tulle.
This white tulip has had the stem wire wrapped for extra support and backed with a tightly closed bud.
Combining colors and texture can be so much fun. Here, a hot pink rose, lavender carnation and mauve mum are backed with seeded eucalyptus.
A single hot pink rose is gorgeous with a ruffled geranium leaf.
Interesting use of
sisal
, wire and
colored pearl pins
make this fun boutonniere very interesting!
Dainty red rhinestones and contrasting ribbon makes this boutonniere pop!
