Blue Boutonnieres for
Proms or Weddings
True blue boutonnieres are stunning and can be accented in a variety of ways. Here, this dyed blue rose is given a glitzy treatment with a backing of decorative silver wire, rhinestone accents, wire wrapped stem and a spritz of silver glitter spray.
Dainty blue delphinium stands alone with a stem wrap of wire and a single rhinestone accent.
Here a filigree boutonniere pin serves as an elegant holder for a spring of larkspur and hypericum berries.
A similar boutonniere is elaborated even more with a rising coil of decorative silver wire out of the holder.
You can see there are so many imaginative ways to use accents to brighten up the old "traditional" boutonniere designs.
Muscari is awesome accented with a tiny blue butterfly secured behind the flower.
