LOVE Shower Cake

This spectacular design is the LOVE shower cake by Wilton. The top is decorated with letters made by a technique called "color flow". Thinned icing creates a smooth design that looks very cool on top of the cake.

This one is made in a two layer 9" Wilton pan (you can use a larger pan to make more servings). It has a fluted border on the edge of the heart. The large LOVE decoration actually lifts off the cake before cutting and can be saved as a momento of the day!

You do have to begin the decorations early for this cake. The LOVE color flow design needs to dry about 48 hours before placing on the actual cake.
